Chicago

 Four repeat walkers and one new walker met in Chicago on Oct. 13.  We were
 met by Kathy Morsbach, our guide and hostess.  The first day we rode bikes
 from Hyde Park where Kathy lives, along Lake Michigan and its many museums
 to the lovely, new Millennium Park in downtown Chicago.  

 After a picnic there, we continued north
 to the Botanical Gardens in Lincoln Park.  

 The second day we took an architectural
 boat tour along the Chicago River and 
 admired the creative sidewalk plantings 
 which have  transformed Michigan Avenue
 into mini-urban gardens.  

 

The third day we toured Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House on the campus of the University
 of Chicago and saw the Impressionist collection at the Art Institute.
